Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 27, 2026

RentFit ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website rent-fit.com. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our site.

Information We Collect

RentFit runs entirely in your browser. We do not require an account, and we do not collect, transmit, or store your income, debt, expense, or any other values you enter into the calculator. Reloading the page clears those entries.

Cookies & Advertising

We display advertising served by Google AdSense on the rent calculator (the homepage) and on the guide pages. Google and its partners may use cookies (including the Google AdSense cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.

The AdSense script is not loaded on this privacy policy, the terms of service, the about page, or the contact page.

• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
• You can also opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices.

For more information about how Google handles data, see policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Your Choices (GDPR & CCPA)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or erase personal data held about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected and to opt out of its sale — we do not sell personal information, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from the calculator itself. Because the calculator runs client-side, we generally have no personal data to act on.

For any privacy request, email the site operator at contact@rent-fit.com. You can also start from the contact page. Messages to that address go to the site operator.

Local Storage

RentFit does not write your income, debts, expenses, or the affordability rule you select into browser local storage. Those values stay in the open page and are discarded when you reload or leave it.

Third-Party Services

• Google AdSense — advertising (see Cookies & Advertising above).

Children's Privacy

RentFit is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with an updated date.
